2015 Communications Academy Joint Interoperability Exercise April 11, 2015 Date: April 7, 2015 Ver: 4.0

Objectives Overall – Showcase interoperability challenges and solutions in the Urban environment – Build networking relationships between participants focusing on capabilities, resources, functions and trust – Broadcast the need for additional training, credentialing and exercise opportunities – Continue building the exercise component of the Communications Academy to attract additional participation in future years Attendees – Provide an overview of the exercise including objectives – Allow viewing/engagement opportunities – Build interest in future exercise participation (Cascadia Rising 2016)

Objectives Com Van operator/exhibitors – Utilize capabilities to support specific interoperability scenarios – Review procedures, programming, radio availability to support NIFOG frequencies – Adapt to near field radio spectrum issues – Engagement with the Military communications teams Military – Meet all predetermined objectives for the Military exercise – Engage and test interoperability capabilities with civilian agencies – Review procedures, programming, radio availability to support NIFOG frequencies – Adapt to near field radio spectrum issues
