Turn on tablet and get workbook if instructed. (Will be on board/overhead.) Ending Class I dismiss the class, not the bell. Put your journal and folder on the shelf on your way out. Take all trash and personal items with you. Exit through entrance door only.
PROCEDURES Supplies Pencil, eraser, journal, folder, tablet, workbook, colored pencils Pencil boxes are mine and contain: colored pencils, scissors, eraser, and glue. One box per pair of students. Tablet must be charged and ready every day.
PROCEDURES Grades New grading policy! NO dropped grades! Any assignment <80% can be redone and averaged. When grade is posted in the gradebook, you have 2 days to request a redo and 3 more days to complete. Before retaking a summative, you must have a parent signature, attend 1 tutorial, and have all assignments completed. P.10, Sect. F: The teacher MAY replace the lowest formative grade. Any determination to replace the lowest grade should reflect the student’s progress toward mastery. Grades will only be replaced if the retake form is completed, assignment is redone and the average is still lower than the summative.
PROCEDURES Grades Journal will be graded. There will be participation/completion grades. Don’t ask, “Is this for a grade?” Complete all work as if it is graded and to the best of your ability! Grades represent understanding and mastery of material. Grades DO NOT represent your character!
PROCEDURES Give me Five: Eyes on speaker Quiet Be still Hands free Listen Raise your hand to be called on in class.
PROCEDURES Bathroom Raise your hand and cross your index & middle finger. Ask only during work time and never during instruction, warmup or closing. You are responsible for any missed notes or instructions. Pencils Sharpen before class starts. Sharpen as necessary, but not when I am talking.

(See #1 on Expectations.) When there is a drill: remain quiet and follow my instructions. Passing out/turning in papers: front to back and back to front.
