WHEN?

WHERE? Classroom? Hall? Playground? Staffroom? Garden? ??????

 Rev Nick  Mrs Firth (Headteacher)  Other Staff including RE Subject Leader or the teacher who the classroom belongs to  Around children from Reception to Year 6 (more than ¼ of the school) including some of the Worship committee  You don’t have to come every week, just when you feel like it WHO?

We follow the BAM materials – last year we covered the whole of the Old Testament. This year we are covering the New Testament. We also include other things we want to talk about. We play games, make things, listen to and sing songs, colour, listen to bible stories, even play team games on the playground. We always talk about what we have learnt at the end and we think about it at other times in the week. WHAT?

 To have fun together  To learn about the bible  To help the younger children in school take part  To pray together  To reflect and spend time thinking  To spend time completing activities with other children who want to learn more about God WHY?

During this year we have also  Taken part in a Christmas Carol Service  Been to Church on Christmas Eve  Brought our Mums to Church on Mothering Sunday and taken part in a drama  Been to the Good Friday Craft Morning  Taken part in the Family Service  Attended the ‘Ice Cream Sundae’  Spoken to the Inspector when we had our ‘SIAMS’ inspection in June. ALSO….

Other Activities Promises Workshop

ICE CREAM SUNDAE

 We sometimes run out of time so we might ask if we can start earlier next year  We would like to lead and take part in more acts of worship and tell the other children what we are doing at BAM  Plan more themed afternoons at the Priory  Put a display in the Priory about our club and see if any members of the congregation would like to come What we would like to do….

The Pupils of Cartmel CE Primary School THANK YOU
