The digits of the number to the left of the decimal point represent the whole number Digits on the right of the point are decimal fractions If there is no whole number, the decimal will begin with a zero in the units position. Digits after the decimal points are read individually.

Confidential4 What is a numerical expression ? A Numerical Expression is a combination of numbers and operations like multiply, divide, add, subtract etc Examples:4 + 3 * ÷ 2 (10 * 8) - 7 Let’s get started !

Confidential5 When we want to solve more complex problems such as 14 ÷ (5 + 2) - 3 we must solve these in a certain order. This is called the “ Order of Operations”. Order of Operations
