History of physics At the end of 19 th century it was generally accepted that all the important laws of physics had been discovered. However a major revolution shook the world of physics, which led to the quantum mechanics and theory of relativity, what we called modern physics. Today in the beginning of 21 st century the situation looks very similar that we had 100 years ago. The standard model pretends to describe almost all phenomena in particle physics. However it turns out that

Dark Matter and Dark Energy Dark energy is necessary to describe the observed acceleratioon of the University expansion. We don’t know what it is. Dark Matter is necessary to describe the motion of the galaxies. We don’t know what is it either. The baryonic matter is only 4% of the Universe. Dark matter interact with usual matter through gravitation but not through electromagnetic, strong or week interactions. That is why it is hard to detect! However there is an indications from the austrophysics observation of the positrons in the space that dark matter would interact with regular matter through heavy photons with mass <1 GeV.
