GCSE Design and Technology GCSE Resistant Materials, Graphic Products and Textiles no longer exist as separate subjects. There is now only GCSE Design and Technology which is a new GCSE. This GCSE has been designed to inspire pupils to think outside the box and to prepare them for thousands of new and existing creative career Pathways.

GCSE Design and Technology Pupils will learn about all materials:  Woods  Metals  Plastics  Textiles  Papers and boards Pupils will choose one material to produce a final product/prototype as part of their Controlled Assessment. Controlled Assessment 50% Written Exam50%

GCSE Design and Technology Pupils will sit an exam where they will be tested on their knowledge and understanding of all materials. Controlled Assessment 50% Written Exam50%
