Here you and your child can find homework, important information, videos, Friday Snack, parent and student links, and MORE Let’s take a look!

Attendance is important! It is important that your child comes to school each and every day well rested and ready to learn. Regular attendance is critical for your child to achieve to his/her highest potential! Academic learning takes placed all day, every day, and students who arrive late, leave early, or are absent miss valuable instruction time.

If your child is absent it is his/her responsibility to get with me to work on what they missed. It is best they get caught up as soon as possible I am available on Monday and Wednesday before school from 8:00-8:30 I am available on Thursday from 3:00-3:30 after school (Monday same time once conferences are over)

We have not received our official planners yet. Students have a planner sheet in their BEE books They are Blue these next 2 weeks Student planners should be signed daily AFTER your child completest his/her homework

Go home every Monday (or beginning of the week) Contain graded work and flyers Please: Check your student’s planner Check parent portal Check the website for updates THEN sign Folders should be returned the NEXT day

We use class dojo YOU have access to see your child’s daily behavior. Students earn positives and negatives Student earn class bucks for positives every Friday Students are able to “buy” items and coupons with their class money

Negatives – They happen and that’s okay I communicate directly with students with more serious negatives like bullying (usually name calling) I will communicate with you when/if these behaviors continue Many times they are in the moment fixes

8:30-9:15 – Computer Lab 9:15-9:35 – Homeroom 9:35-10:20 – Special Area 10:20 – 12:08 – Math/Science 12:08-12:33 – Lunch 12:33-1:00 – Recess 1:00 – 2:45 – Language Arts

We do not have a water fountain in the classroom. Water bottles help students stay hydrated, especially during the hot summer months Please make sure you are only sending your school with water to drink in the classroom.

Students are assigned Math Homework daily (except before a test) Student receive a Friday packet to practice their important fact skills Homework is due the NEXT DAY Homework is reviewed in class and students are expected to correct their mistakes to receive partial credit 10 points off homework for every day it is late

Math pacing is set by the district. We use GoMath One lesson per day is taught. (rare occasions 2) During math time the new lesson is presented, we work problems out together and students begin working on sample problems. Students must pay attention! 4th grade math is HARD!

Science is taught daily We read and review a lesson 1 day and do the virtual lesson for that lesson the next Unites Covered What is Science Life Science Space and Technology Physical Science Earth Science
