Lesson Goal: Learn more about the Southern Colonies by working with desk partners on today’s activities. Outcomes: Be able to... 1.Define these terms: Debtor, indigo, plantation, racism, slave codes, imports, exports, mercantilism, triangular trade, legislature, English Bill of Rights. 2.Identify these individuals/concepts: Tidewater, James Oglethorpe, Lord Baltimore, Navigation Acts, Mason-Dixon Line. 3.Indicate distinctive features for each of the Southern Colonies. 4.Demonstrate your ability to work strategically within teams with your desk partner(s).

Starter #1 Working strategically with others in a team implies that everyone is doing his/her fair share. Prove by your efforts today that you are an excellent team player. Please use low voice levels so we don’t disturb one another.
