What is PLAY???? “Play takes many forms, but the heart of play is pleasure – an important component in learning” (Perry, 2001) Play can also be viewed as the “passion of young children” (Honig, 2000). Play is the work of children. It consists of those activities performed for self-amusement that have behavioral, social, and psychomotor rewards. It is child-directed, and the rewards come from within the individual child; it is enjoyable and spontaneous.

About this game……  This game comes from France  It’s become more enjoyfull when there are more participants.  It’s just a simple game but enjoyful…

How to play???  First, named the players with fruits named.  The players are seated on the floor in a circle around a center player.  The named of the fruits that can be use such as grape, apple, strawbery and orange.  All of the players need to remember their fruits named.

 One player are choosen to sit in the center.  This person need to choose a fruit and said it loudly.  For example : “I choose…..ermmmm….GRAPES!!!!”.  So, when the center player call the named of the fruit, the other player must be alert.  The players that has same name of the fruits must change their position between them.

 REMEMBER : do not stay at the same place when your fruits name are called.  No player may go outside the circle  Center player need to take the position of the other players quickly.  The person who cannot change their position or didn’t have a place to sit will be the next “center”.

Benefits from this game…… Play Promotes Physical Development  Develop gross motor skills.  Balancing their bodies when they are stand to change their position. Play Promotes Intellectual Development Stratergy when they become the middle player. Stratergy between the others player to change their position. Learn about name of fruits. Remembered their friends that have the same name of fruit with them.

Play Promotes Social Development TThey learn how to cooperate with the others in silence mode. TThey learn how to interact with the others. Play Helps to Develop Emotional Values oToThey can laugh while they played. oToThey feels happy when the trick were succeed
