Grammar - participle Overwhelmed, She expressed her gratitude to the old man when they called him on Christmas Day.(P.103/ 5/9th) ( As ) she was overwhelmed She expressed her gratitude to the old man~. (being)

the beginning of the story is said by Nick curry 3. Nick curry met a man who came to Tampa for his father's funeral and this story is about the man's story. summary

Its start in his father's funeral. His father and he hadn't seen each other in years. In fact according to him, his father had left when he was a boy and they had had little contact until about a year ago. The son tentatively set a date to visit his father two months later. But their meeting postponed for various reason. His father said he understand but the son didn't hear from him again for sometime. In November, he received call from his father's neighbor. His father had been taken to the hospital with heart problem. But his father said, "I'm fine.

He and his father chatted and laughed and talked about getting together 'soon'. On Christmas day, his father sent small gift for his children and his wife. His children received simple gifts, but his wife received a precious music box that his father is received his mother's. They decided to invite his father. But as an excuse for not having done so, his wife added " it is too cold for him here" So they couldn't meet him. He always delay to visit his father and finally he met his father, he was here to bury his father.

Connection Information - Tampa Tampa is city in the state of Florida, located on Tampa Bay. Tampa is a station on the Los Angeles Metro Orange Line. It is named after adjacent Tampa Avenue, which travels north-south and crosses the east-west busway route. The station is in the Los Angeles district of Tarzana. There are many visitor and various place.

Opinion In the beginning, when I saw title of story, I felt moving without reason. It is quite apparent to everybody about 'father'. A lot of kinds of father existed and live with me or them. These days, Some people live alone and even they don't know how parents are getting along. Because they devoted themselves to their works. Like this story, more and more we are living only for our life.

Since we was born, parent's have taken care of us. However we always forget our parent's gratitude. Maybe we think that parents exist is natural. But now I understand how much I owe to my parents. "I LOVE YOU" Now, we realize that our parents are not always live with us. Today, how about talk to your father and mother like the man in this story "I LOVE YOU"
