CONTENTS

 Human computer interaction has become an important part of our daily lives. INTRODUCTION  The movement of user’s eyes can provide a convenient, natural and high-bandwidth source of input.  It is the interface between eyes and computer.  It takes less time in comparison to existing system.

FIGURE OF EYE

Now we are going to develop a new technique, so that a user can easily interact with computer by simply moving eyes…..as we can see in the above fig…..

WORKING OF EYES

APPLICATIONS Few applications of multi model systems are listed below:  Smart Video Conferencing  Intelligent Homes/Offices  Driver Monitoring  Intelligent Games  E-Commerce  Helping People with Disabilities

MERITS  Easy to set up.  Easley to collect verbal data.  Flexible: questions can be asked in response to users’ Responses.  Can get a lot of information at once.

DEMERITS  It may be expensive to pay the experts.  Very limited user coverage(i.e.: none!).  Time consuming.  Participants may feel peer pressure to say things they otherwise wouldn’t.

LIMITATIONS  Approximately 0.4" or 40 pixels on the screen at a 24" viewing distance.  An additional problem is that the range over which the eye can be tracked with this equipment is fairly limited.  In our configuration, it cannot quite cover the surface of a 19" monitor at a 24" viewing distance.

CONCLUSION  Less equipment are used.  More convenient method to operate system.  Easy to design hardware part of the system.  It takes less time to operate.
