Three first time attendees from Region 1 MA & MD added Research staff DC received $500K for implementation MA and NH held Research and Innovation Showcases with over 200 attendees New England states partnered with the University of Vermont for assistance with coordinating and hosting the annual New England Materials and Research Engineer’s Meeting
DE added state legislative language to enable the DOT to work with the University of Delaware DE implemented a new more open process for the solicitation and selection of research projects NH and MA received STIC funding NH moved to deliverable based contracting systems and DE and MA are looking into it MA received funding for Transit research Several SHRP2 Implementation funding awards
PA received the Innovation of the Year Award for their STIC and process for identifying innovations
Review current meeting schedule and frequency Begin including presentations on research results in the region on the agenda Continue to encourage applying for SHRP2 funding and submitting High Value Research projects Encourage participation in RAC from all states in the region Begin using the mentoring guidelines as new RAC members are assigned
