A bit about myself: Originally from Cheltenham in England (100m west of London) Grew up next to Spirax Sarco where my Dad worked, Decided I wanted to work there too and stayed 44 years, Spirax Sarco Inc relocated here from Allentown PA in ’98, My family and I relocated to Columbia in ’99 to assist with the start-up of the new plant, retired in ‘08, We liked Blythewood and moved to Ashley Oaks in ’04, Elected to Secretary of the Ashley Oaks HOA in ’12, Served on Planning Commission ‘13-’15, Elected to Town Council November 2015.

Penny Tax benefits for Blythewood The Richland County Transportation Department manages all items of the Transportation Penny Program approved by voters in November This program is broken up into three major categories and is funded by a special sales and use tax for not more than 22 years or until a total of $1.07 billion in sales tax revenue is collected, whichever occurs first. The three major categories include: Improvements to highways, roads (paved and unpaved), streets, intersections, and bridges including related drainage system improvements ($656,020,644) Continued operation of mass transit services provided by Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority including implementation of near, mid and long-term service improvements ($300,991,000) Improvements to pedestrian sidewalks, bike paths, intersections and greenways ($80,888,356) The Richland County Transportation Department
