Use a Diary Have a look at your planner. Your parents must see the PLANNER and sign it. Tick off HW when it has been done KEEP your PLANNER in your school bag AT ALL TIMES
Personal Organiser An A4 size wallet is ideal for storing work to carry between home and school. You will need one with at least 12 sections for all your subjects. Ask at the school shop Bring one to the lesson next week

Weekly Planner Pin it up in the kitchen and use it as a last minute check before you leave the house. Include lists of what you need each day e,g games kit, money for school trip, reply letter, home economics, etc

Notice Board Have a notice board in the kitchen for pinning up: School phone number School website address letters from school friends phone numbers equipment list (yes there it is again)

Post-it Pads and Pens Keep these near the telephone for taking messages
Bleep It Set reminders on your phone: Set them for before you leave the house to remind you to look at the notice board or weekly planner.
Marker Pen Keep a marker pen handy to name all your items. It may not stop you loosing them but if they are named, some of them might be returned.
