How the RMS Post Office Works 1.The gateway is disconnected from the internet 2. The gateway is now a post office 4. The inbound message is held 5. Addressee must call the post office to pick up their messages 3. A station sends message to the post office addressed to another station 6. When the internet returns the gateway returns to normal use

What about Delivery & Replies Request Read Receipt sent back to the PO ---- Do not use Post Office holds the read Receipt until it is picked up Adds overhead and storage space No guarantee of a reply from the EOC
