HOMEWORK Read the article, “Bernie Sanders Won Iowa Because the Media Said He Did” SOAPSTone on the article. Highlight appeals within the article (pathos, ethos, logos) and write which appeal you’ve identified in the margin. When you get down to the part where the article lists different opinions of who won… Off to the side, write the argument made by the article. Example: “But in the end, a virtual tie in Iowa is an acceptable, if not ideal, result for Mrs. Clinton and an ominous one for Mr. aSnders. He failed to win a state tailor made for his strengths.” My Explanation: Iowa was a loss for Bernie Sanders because he should have won by a landslide but, at the very best, he tied Hillary Clinton.
