Design Components © West Midlands Fire Service 2009 Return Audit Draft Nov 2015

© West Midlands Fire Service 2009 MY TASKS These need to appear in a better hierarchy listing :- 1.Pre Audit Checks ( as this is the first stage of an audit ) 2.Audit ( lose fire safety as we know what it is ) 3.Return Audit ( for those audits that require a return visit). Is it possible to use a different icon to categorise the audits something like a clipboard?. If this is possible, could we use different icons for each department within fire safety. This would minimise confusion and also allow a list to be produced of how many jobs are outstanding in each area. We haven’t talked about this elsewhere in the other workbooks but it would make sense to categorise all of the workbooks differently so the list of outstanding jobs for each Borough( or for the whole of fire safety) can instantly be seen. In the reports it should also make it easier to categorise the work that has been completed. For example :- In BCS for Quarter complaints of which 12 were referrals from the crews 16 postfires 37 queries 3 general advice 15 Satisfactory Audits 10 Unsatisfactory Audits 5 Unsatisfactory with Return audits OR 85 short audits of which 25 were escalated to full audit of which 5 required a RETURN visit – CFOA would prefer this but we will need to be clear in the request for reports.Speak to Simon about how he wants this to be reported as we will need this to be programmed at this stage

After seeing the new activity assistant, the layout is much better than this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. We don’t have a return audit at the moment so I cannot put my premises next to one !!!!

Martina, if anyone of these items on this and the previous page are changed, the changes should be recorded as Date changes made by Roll No. This should be displayed next to the item. There should then be a historical record of the changes i.e. the change stays on the screen even when the same item is changed again by another officer. For example The following Changes have been made to xxxx premises (UPRN or address) MEZZANINE Yes Mezzanine floor added in 2015 fitted with detection and emergency lighting underneath (Shipley ) 19-OCT-15 This should stay even if someone adds another entry The following Changes have been made to xxxx premises (UPRN or address) MEZZANINE Yes Another mezzanine added on the mezzanine. 1900(Dales) 20-Jan-19 ICON
