Study & Focus Focuses on quantitative test for measurement psychological variables such as intelligence, aptitude, or natural ability to do something, and personality traits. Personal & Cognitive

How do they help? Psychometric Testing Three main characteristics - Ability testing, Aptitude testing, Personality questionnaires Ability Testing measures a persons potential. For example a job. Aptitude Testing measures the ability of able to do something. Which most people agree that ability, and aptitude measurements share no differences. Personality Testing measures the persons characteristics. Personality focuses on relatively stable and enduring aspects of an individual which distinguishes them from other people making them unique, or different.

Programs FORDHAM UNIVERSITY: The program focuses on helping students learn about statistics and other research in psychometrics.

How It Began / History Cambridge First lab was dedicated to the subject University Of Cambridge by James McKeen Cattel, an American, completed his Ph.D entitled Psychometric Investigations (Catell 1886), with Wundt at Leipzig.
