Child & Adolescent Psychiatry via Telehealth Trillium Family Services Keith Cheng, MD & Lana Shotwell, LPC

Pilot Project Summary The Trillium Family Services (TFS) Telehealth Project seeks to provide psychiatric services via video conferencing to youth transitioning from residential treatment to rural community placements and youth in rural settings receiving school- based mental health services.

TFS residential services include: Secure Inpatient Program, Sub-Acute, and Psychiatric Residential Treatment Services (PRTS). TFS has about 110 beds available. For the past two calendar years TFS has averaged roughly 700 admissions per year to these programs and approximately 20% of the admissions to these programs are from rural Oregon communities.
