The development and implementation of INC

INC Mission Statement INC strives to help entrepreneurs successfully establish and grow new ventures in Henry County by providing access to low cost space, educational support, networking opportunities, and mentoring.

Steps For Creating INC 1. Established INC Board with appointees from the Chamber and Iowa Wesleyan College 2. Applied for and won a Community Vitality Center Grant for $10, Worked with local businesses and college to identify and renovate space

4. Prepared INC application and guidelines 5. Marketed INC to the public 6. Interviewed applicants 7. Selected applicants and created their educational plan.

INC Today  Facility is complete  Two applications received  Ribbon cutting and grand opening scheduled for November 3rd  Working on educational plans for applicants and IWC student involvement opportunities

Henry County Entrepreneurs Award Sponsored by Alaniz LLC Mission Statement The Henry County Entrepreneurs Award strives to help entrepreneurs successfully establish and grow new ventures in Henry County by providing access to funding.

Steps For Creating the Henry County Entrepreneurs Award 1. Identified local, successful entrepreneur to sponsor the award and provide the initial funding 2. Created award criteria, application, and timeline 3. Marketed the award program 4. Interviewed applicants 5. Selected award recipients and presented award

Henry County Entrepreneurs Award Today  7 applications received  2 entrepreneurs selected for the award  Presentation of the award on October 22 nd during MPACC Banquet  Currently applying for CVC Funding for next year.
