5 Who Are We? C200 is a by-invitation global organization of highly successful women business leaders. C200 members are an exceptionally accomplished and inspiring community of women who value the organization’s unique mix of entrepreneurs and corporate executives. C200’s powerful community is known for its deep commitment to advancing the success of its members and to profoundly changing the face of business. The mission of the Committee of 200 is to foster, advance and celebrate women leaders in business. In support of this mission, the C200 Foundation is the philanthropic vehicle through which C200 members have the opportunity to collectively inspire and impact the advancement of women in business.

Members are passionately supportive of each other and honor confidentiality. C200 members make personal and professional connections easily and widely across the organization. Why is this critical to the C200 strategy?  Building trust and relationships with peers who have exceptional expertise and experience is a unique value proposition  Members value sharing wisdom, solving problems and opening doors for each other’s success  Clear and well-communicated membership criteria assures members they are engaging with peers who have achieved a defined level of success  99% said they valued the C200 culture of confidentiality and members helping members  Members believe …. “I am enriched by being part of this community”  Members believe …. “I can have a greater impact by being part of this community”  83% asked for access to current member expertise and experiences  39% ranked easy access to other members as the #1 internal priority

Why is this critical to the C200 strategy?  C200 is a lifelong membership organization  Member needs, their ability and ways to engage will evolve through their life and they want to have more varied options that fit their life stage  82% of members value most the peer network and relationships they gain from C200  72% note C200’s Unique Value Proposition is its exclusive peer-to-peer network  99% said that relationships with members are important to them  55% ranked “more opportunities for engagement” as the #1 way C200 could serve them better  Over the past three years, greater than 90% of members renewed their membership

C200’s impact in advancing women in business is credited to the member’s expertise in business, vast network of resources, openly sharing their individual success strategies and lessons learned relating to factors which impact women’s success, and most importantly, providing support at critical junctures in the continuum of a business woman’s career. Why is this critical to the C200 Strategy?  96% of respondents said making a significant impact on the future of women business leaders is important  75% of respondents said C200 should be known as an organization changing the face of business leadership  Being involved collectively in advancing women also increases member engagement
