PARKS: Valuing and conserving nature 1.Utilizing and Promoting Satoyama and Satoumi Initiative as a tool toenhance connectivity, and sustainable agriculture, forestry and fishery within/around PAs 2.Expanding more Coastal PAs in the region Establishing robust rapport with fishing/tourism industries

PEOPLE: Equitable governance/Inspiring a new generation 1.Sharing best practices on collaborative management (CM) among managers/practitioners in the region 1 st CM workshop was held in Japan PA managers from Asia Protected Area Partnership (APAP) participated in the WS 2.Promoting IUCN Green List as a tool to enhance PA governance and management Applying this to several WNH sites Where the sites now become amusement park
