Thursday 19 th November 2015 Number 10 AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS MONDAY FILM CLUB- “Arthur Christmas” Finishing time 5pm THURSDAY CRAFT CLUB finishing time 4.15pm CLUBS COST £1 EACH CHILDREN IN NEED Many thanks to the Dream Team for organising the Children in Need fund raising event and everyone who supported the event. We raised £ for this worthy cause. LOST AND FOUND Jake Mashiter has lost his school sweatshirt age 5/6. Can parents please check that their child has not picked the wrong one up. CLASS ONE SWIMMING Class one will have their last swimming session on Monday. The following week they will need their PE kit on Monday and Wednesday. FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT Y5/6 are taking part in a football tournament at Beacon Hill School on Monday. They will wear school football kit, but will need warm clothes and football boots/trainers. They will be back before 3.15pm. SHOE BOX APPEAL Many thanks to everyone who sent filled shoe boxes for the shoe box appeal. We collected 13 boxes this year. WANTED – FIR CONES If anyone is out and about this weekend and come across some fir cones, please collect them and bring them into school, for a project we are doing in school. Thank you FOREST SCHOOL Class two are taking part in Forest Schools tomorrow, they will need old clothes and wellies. DRAWING TICKETS Please return drawing ticket stubs, money and unsold tickets to school by next Thursday. Many thanks to everyone who has already returned their tickets. DREAM TEAM VISIT TO HAYTON CASTLE Our dream to are going to visit Hayton Castle to investigate their wood with a view to using it for Forest School.

We will have all the usual Stalls including: Cakes, Tombola, Books, Toys, Christmas Stall, refreshments and raffle. All donations for Tombola, prizes, cake stall etc. will be gratefully appreciated. We have a box in the school front entrance for donations for a Christmas Hamper. SANTA will pay us a special visit.

100 CLUB We will be doing the first draw for the newly established ‘100 Club’ at the School Christmas Sale If you have not got your ticket yet and would like one, please contact Kelly Conway or any member of staff for full details. Tickets cost £1 each, the draw is done monthly, with 50% of the takings being prize money. The other 50% is used to pay towards building work in school and IT equipment. For ease of administration we would prefer for you to pay 12 months in advance. (£12 per number) SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS You should have received your school photographs. To ensure that the photos are returned before we break up for the Christmas Holidays, please return your orders to school by Monday 23 rd November.
