european capacity building initiativeecbi An effective Mitigation system should at least establish: A.Long term collective Aspects– trajectory (signal); 1.Mitigation Goal framed around a Temperature Goal (at least below 2C with a view to consider -1.5C in light of the review) to be defined by the Governing Body/COP; 2.Cycles to assess, adjust and enhance ambition collective mitigation efforts /temperature goal refelcting the Pple of No-backsliding and progression [design of global stocktaking proposal: consideration phase]; 3.[How do we enable mitigation potential with MoI within the communication-consideration- inscription timeframes] 4.Link between Mitigation, MoI and Adaptation efforts;

Individual mitigation comitments –with key features or characteristics 1.Legally binding; 2.To be reflected in Parties Post 2020 mitigation undertakings; 3. To be communicated, [considered] and inscribed thorugh consistent cycles; 4.To enable progressively enhanced action and no backsliding; 5.To provide clarity and understanding, based on comitment types; 6.To enhance Transparency based on counting and accounting rules; [Incentive based implememtation (looking at compliance preventively)] We did not address differentiation, and needs to be discussed.
