UTTAR PRADESH IRRIGATION DEPARTMENT BUNDELKHAND PACKAGE

OBJECTIVE:  LINING OF THE EXISTING SYSTEM TO PREVENT SEEPAGE LOSSES.  ADOPTING EFFICIENT SYSTEM OF WATER CONVEYENCE, DISTRIBUTION AND APPLICATION.  HARVESTING RAIN WATER BY REPAIR AND RENOVATION OF EXISTING WATER BODIES AND CONSTRUCTING CHECK DAM, DIGGING PONDS ETC.

SCHEME-A COMPLETION OF ONGONING WORKS  TWO PROJECTS ARE PROPOSED  CREATION OF 3102 HECT. ADDITIONAL IRRIGATION POTENTIAL.  ONE PROJECT-COST Rs CR ( ACA- Rs CR) APPROVED BY PLANNING COMMISSION. MINISTRY APPROVAL AWAITED.  SECOND PROJECT- Rs CR SHORTLY TO BE SUMITTED TO GOI.  SANCTIONED PROJECT- Rs CR INCLUDING CENTRAL SHARE RELEASED.

SCHEME-B REPAIR & RENOVATION OF PONDS/TANKS ETC.  PROJECTS RETURNED BY GOI FOR TAC AND SLTC APPROVAL.  39 PROJECTS APPROVED BY SLTC-COST Rs CR SUBMITTED TO GOI.  CREATION OF HECT. ADDITIONAL IRRIGATION POTENTIAL.  EARLY SANCTION REQUESTED.

SCHEME-C RESTORING CAPACITIES OF CANAL, REPAIRS, RENOVATION & REMODELLING OF CANALS  32 PROJECTS- COST Rs CR  CREATION OF HECT OF ADDITIONAL IRRIGATION POTENTIAL.  STATE SANCTIONED – Rs CR INCLUDING CENTRAL SHARE FOR 7 PROJECTS.

MECHANICAL PART CHANGING PUM SETS, RECONSTRUCTION OF WATER DISTRUBUTION NETWORK  THREE PROJECTS (Rs CR ALREADY SUBMITTED TO GOI SANCTION AWAITED  LIFT IRRIGATION SCHEME FOR JALAUN DISTRICT ( Rs CR) APPROVED BY GOI STATE RELEASED Rs CR TO THE DEPARTMENT.
