Program Overview S.T.E.P.S. is a work and independent living program designed to serve students who have or functional as if having a mild cognitive impairment, during their final 2 or 3 years of schooling as they move toward a Certificate of Completion. The program’s focus is on transitioning students from school to employment and personal success in adult life roles. S.T.E.P.S. is designed to help students develop important vocational, social and independent living skills as well as utilize community resources.
