Payroll Process Overview Each employee belongs to a single Facility and Employee Type Facilities determine the start date of the Payroll Calendar and the output location for the payroll information Employee Types are linked to a Payroll Schedule if that type is to be linked to payroll Payroll Schedules control the frequency and dates that payroll information is extracted from TimeTrack, along with the data necessary to be sent to the Payroll Provider Payroll information is created when an employee’s daily summary is processed by the supervisor Payroll information can only be exported to payroll when all the data for the relevant payment period has been created

Facility Setup Create the facility Specify the current year and state when the first payroll should start Specify the location of the exported payroll information Optionally enter any holidays specific to this facility. Most holidays would have been entered at the site level but additional facility-specific ones are added here Optionally enter a Payroll Code to be included in Payroll Extract information

Payroll Details Shows individual day records for each day for the selected employee/pay period Shows extract that would be sent to payroll if payroll extract was performed now Based on definition in payroll schedule Click on Calculate Premium to add any shift or overtime premium Optional step – will automatically be performed when the payroll is processed These premiums are now displayed as additional lines Any manual adjustments can be made Click on Payroll Process to process and lock the information Can click on Reopen if necessary Click on Export to create the physical extract file to be sent to the Payroll Provider
