The rain forest is made up of four floors. The four floors are the forest floor,understory,canopy, and the emergent layer. Rain forests are very dense, warm, wet forests. The Amazon is the biggest rain forest in the world. Tropical rain forests are found in south America, West Africa, Australia, southern India, and Southeast Asia. It rains a lot. It is very foggy.

Our three favorite animals that live in the rain forest are jaguars, toucan, and gorillas. Our three favorite plants that live in the rain forest are fungi, stilt palms, and banana plants. There are many interactions within the rain forest. One interaction is between animal and plant. There are ants that live in the stems of the acacia plant. If an animal tries to eat the plant, the ants will sting the predator on the nose.

One interesting fact about the rain forest is that it has the most Plants and animals than any other habitat in the world.
