Reading Class Lesson/Mini Lesson (SCHOOLWIDE Curriculum) I will work with small groups and individual students on strategies that we learn in our daily reading lessons. Spelling Writing Grammar Note Taking Skills Guided Reading Comprehension Strategies Vocabulary Students will be reading a lot in the classroom with material at their level. Instruction is very individualized. Grades will be based on proficiency in these strategies.

Homework Policy The assignment notebook should be signed each night by the parent/guardian to show that it has been seen. Homework is due first thing in the morning of the day indicated in the assignment notebook. If it is not turned in consistently, a conference between the parents and the teacher will be required.
