1.An ability measure internal temperature of two separate points in the meat and the temperature inside the roaster using RTD sensors. 2.An ability to control the temperature inside the cooker by modifying gas flow using a logic controlled valve. 3.An ability store and load cooking profiles from memory. 4.An ability to automatically ignite at the push of a button and detect whether a flame is present. 5.An ability to wirelessly communicate temperature information to a remote display device. PSSC’S

 Component choices:  Micro  Most complicated  3V power MOSFET  High heat  5V power MOSFET  High heat  XBEE  Complex, RF, 50mA  Relay  Physical wear RELIABILITY AND SAFETY COMPONENT CHOICES FOR ANALYSIS

 PLL and oscillator circuits included  Includes all pin failures MICROPROCESSOR BLOCK

 Includes both 3V and 5V MOSFETs  Includes passive components  Includes transformer (not shown)  (ignore orientation of 5V reg) POWER SUPPLY BLOCK

 Includes some port pin signals  Includes MOSFET  Includes relay  Includes resistors GAS REGULATION BLOCK
