What is ASB?  ASB stands for Associated Student Body.  We plan activities and events (lunch- time games, dances, candy-grams, etc.) that promote Spartan spirit and pride.  School-wide events teach students scholarly and character traits via fun and meaningful activities.

Please help us by listening to why the following candidates would like to be elected as ASB officers for next year. -- Click the link at the end to vote for the person that you think will do the best job!

Secretary Samantha Garcia Vote for me for secretary because I’m great at keeping track of important topics in order to keep you guys happy!

Treasurer Juan Carreon Greetings fellow Lathrop Spartans. It would mean the world to me if I can count on your votes for me as treasurer. The reason I should be treasurer is because I am really good at Math and I feel like I would contribute above and beyond.

Treasurer Adam Solis I think I should be treasurer because I am good at Math and counting money. I can help count the money so we can know how much we’ve earned in order to plan fun and amazing activities for everyone. I am Adam Solis, your new treasurer for and I approve this message. VOTE FOR ME!

Vice President Sebastian Ascencio Hi! My name is Sebastian Ascencio. I am running for Vice President! Why? I want to make the school more fun so all of the students and incoming 6 th graders can participate in fun activities. I also want for all of the new 6 th graders to feel welcomed and safe. I want great students to represent our one and only Julia C. Lathrop Intermediate School! If I am vice president, I’ll make sure our president does everything for us!

Vice President Mariela Montiel My name is Mariela Montiel. I will be an 8 th grader next year and I would like to become Vice President. A reason for this is because I am a great leader and I show responsibility in all areas. I am a respectful and smart person. I have all of the characteristics of a great leader. Please vote for me. Thank you!

President Zeneida Carrasco

President Edith Alvarez -I am Edith Alvarez and I approve this message.
