Cottage Grove Mercury Cottage Grove, OR On March 7, 2015, a property owner spilled elemental mercury onto the gravel/soil driveway. The property owner fell into the spilled mercury, washed himself in a bathroom sink and then drove his truck to his sister's house to call for assistance. 192 nd Street Drum Dump Tacoma, WA WA DOE reported 5 abandoned 55-gallon drums along the side of the road on 192 nd Street adjacent to a wetland. EPA characterized drums as containing waste flammable liquid. EPA overpacked and disposed of drums.
