Most of the bridges are big enough for our riverboat to travel under.

Mark Twain was a famous American author. His most famous work, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, is largely a journey down the Mississippi River on a raft.

When we pass St. Louis, Missouri, we can see the famous arch.

The paddle on our riverboat powers us downstream.

Our last stop is New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Mississippi River empties into the Gulf of Mexico about 100 miles downstream from New Orleans. It takes about 90 days for the water to flow from Lake Itasca to the Gulf of Mexico.
