Vocabulary - straggling  Straggling – wandering off His mother gets upset at him because he is always straggling when they go for a walk.

Vocabulary – puddin’  Puddin’ – slang term of disrespect The little boy’s temper flares when his older brother calls him “Puddin”.

Vocabulary - dell  Dell - valley The newly married couple dreamed of building a house in the dell and owning a huge ranch.
