About Me My name is Devin, I moved down to Orlando about a year after living in NY my whole life Graduate from Western Connecticut State University a few years ago with my Bachelors I studied abroad my last semester of undergrad in Australia (best decision ever!) I recently worked at a daycare as an Associate Teacher for the Two’s and Preschool classrooms I love doing volunteer work In NY, I spent a lot of time going to and working at concerts for friends who were on tour I enjoy reading, going to the beach, listening to music and going to concerts, running and going to the theme parks down here

Influential Person The one person who has had the biggest influence on me is my high school chemistry teacher who always pushed me to do my best and still does today. He was one the greatest teachers I’ve ever had and became a great friend. He taught me to always believe in myself and pushed me through all the times I thought I couldn’t do it or felt like giving up. He is one of the biggest influences of why I wanted to become a teacher, because I want to have an impact on students the way he did for me.

Program and Future Goals Currently enrolled in the MAED program in Early Childhood Education After finishing my degree, I hope to become an elementary school teacher in a formalized classroom setting This degree will help me in getting the perfect position where I can help students become their best selves, like my teachers did for me
