Montgomery County Community Foundation The Women’s Legacy Fund (WLF) brings women together to make a positive impact on our community. The WLF educates and inspires women to identify and fund innovative approaches to address community issues which affect women and their families.

Children and their families come to the ranch to help care for and interact with the horses in a loving environment in order to nurture healing and growth for both horse and person. A grant to Achaius Ranch was given to support a summer intern to expand the training given to children and families in caring for and interacting with the horses. Achaius Ranch provides refuge for neglected, abused, and unwanted horses.
The Athenas is an after school program for at- risk girls at our local high school. The programs offered emphasize confidence, character, nutrition, exercise and self-worth.
