 He was afraid because the Chanteau d’If was a prison of about 300 years old, and the prisoner who goes there never returns  He asks for the reason of why is he in prison  Because underground was where they sent crazy people and they too?  The chief officer visited the prisoners  Because in the prison book Mr. Villefort wrote “A dangerous man. He helped Napoleon return back from Elba. Watch him carefully” so the chief officer couldn’t do anything for him

 Where were you going?  How many people were in the boat?  How long have you been sailing?  What is your mission with napoleon?  Why do you help napoleon?

 Faria is a clever man, who is in prison because he has the letter and the government man was afraid of him. No, we think that he wont escape because of his illness. Because Dantes was more time in the prison and he gives him recommendations for living there.

 Cesar Borgia wasn't a good man and the only thing that he cared about was Monet money and power.  Spada was a wise man. He went to dinner but before he wrote a will leaving everything to his nephews. He drinks the wine because he thought that Cesar would kill him in another way, a smarter way. He wrote a letter with the instructions for finding the treasure because it wasn’t easy. The treasure was hidden in the Island of Monte Cristo.

 Red Liquid: it’s Faria’s medicine  A long bag of dirty cloth: there’s where the guards put Faria after he died  A heavy weight: after Dantes gets into the bag, the guards say that it was heavy.they tied a heavy weight to his feet  A knife: Dantes had a knife that helped him get out of the bag, once he was in the sea  The island of Monte Cristo: is where the treasure was hidden  A Turkish ship: was the ship the Young Amelia met in the Island of Monte Cristo

 Old friend: Hi! What are you doing here? Did you escape?  Edmond: Hi! Yes I did…  Old friend: How?!?  Edmond: I got into a bag where was put a friend a friend of mine was put, he had died. who die, they throw threw me into the sea and I swung swam until a ship rescue me  Old friend: Wow! Are you ok?  Edmond: Yes, thanks. But please don’t tell anyone about my secret, it is very important  Old friend: Yes of course. We should meet some time

 Jacopo was a good hearted friend  The sailors and captain were rough and dangerous men but good friends.  Spada hid the treasure on Monte Cristo.  Spada sold the ship to Edmond  Edmond’ s dad was going to died soon  Mercedes was nursing Edmond’s dad  Napoleon returned to France in 1815  Danglars disappeared from France Caderousee became very poor  The count of Monte Cristo was Edmond

 Edmond: Mercedes You don’t know how many things I have to tell you starting from when I left Marseilles.  Mercedes: Edmond I also need to tell you something about your father.  Edmond: What?  Mercedes: I have been nursing your dad and we need to talk about your enemies  Edmond: So my enemies are…? B: Danglars and Caderousee

 Mercedes: I though they were my friends  Edmond: And that’s because I waited all these years for you.  Edmond: I need to tell you what happened since I left. I went to the Chanteau d’If because I was accused of a crime I didn’t commit.  Mercedes: OMG!  Edmond: There I made a friend called Faria, he had a secret, he knew exactly the location of a hidden treasure. he told me that if I ever got out of this prison I would have to go and find it. One day Faria died because of his illness  Mercedes: Oh no! What happened?

 Edmond: When that happened I saw a chance and I tooke it… I got into the bag where Faria was put after he died. The guards throw threw me into the sea and I swung swam until a ship rescued me.  Mercedes: They throw threw you into the sea?!?  Edmond: Yes… Any way to make the long story short I was able to get the treasure and come back to be here with you.
