ADOPT-A- COLLEGE DOOR DECORATING CONTEST

TEACHER SLIDE For the next couple of weeks seminar classes will be working on a door decorating contest. You will find the rubric and instructions attached to the . Your students can choose any college. You may find it easier if you give them a short list of schools to choose from rather than ask them what school do they want to choose. Divide the work to ensure that all students participate in the lesson. Butcher paper is available in the adjoining room to 113. Please do not send students to collect paper.

SEMINAR MARCH 28 TH - APRIL 13 TH Do Now: With a partner discuss: “What are some benefits of attending college? What are some constraints and limitations?” (2-3 minutes) Share your ideas with the class. (1-2 minutes)

OVERVIEW For the next 2 weeks you will be participating in a door decorating contest. Review the rubric and choose a school. Assign each person information to look-up. (See the next slide for the information needed on the door) Have the door completed and ready for judging by the 13 th of April. HAVE FUN!!!
