Regional Fire Training
Regional/Municipal Fire Training Concept Post cessation of the PSHSA “high hazard” training unit there was an opportunity to leverage Ministry of Labour’s “New Initiatives” fund to develop a regional training hub model As a result after discussion with regional training centers, the model had merit The MoL announced project funding over 2 years Partnering with the OAFC and other stakeholders to execute 9 February 1, 2016Presentation to the OPFFA
Regional/Municipal Fire Scope of Work Working with the OAFC to network Regional and Municipal Fire Training Centers Across the Province Received funding from the MoL to: Build a common website to network the training catalogues of the participant Fire Training Centers Build curriculum NFPA 1006, 1670 awareness, operations and technician levels Concept is to make available High Hazard, Health and Safety and Certification level Programs in multiple locations throughout the Province February 1, 2016Presentation to the OPFFA 10
