October 2014 OPERATION TRAMLINE Motorway Traffic Offences During a 5 day operation 198 motorists prosecuted for driving offences Behaviour by Motorists spotted: Male shaving whilst driving Female doing her make up in the rear view mirror Male reading a newspaper whilst driving Driver using his ipad Driver using Facebook on his mobile phone 126 motorists on mobile phones

Conspiracy to commit robbery and Conspiracy to commit burglary The sentences come after a five week trial at Winchester Crown Court into a number of serious offences which took place across Hampshire, Thames Valley and Surrey between August 2011 & January 2012 November Males sentenced following joint investigations between Hampshire, Surrey and Thames Valley Police. (Major Investigation Teams – OPERATION QUAKER) Sentenced 20 th November 2013 at Winchester Crown Stuart Last, aged 29, (Windsor) Imprisoned for 17 years Richard Loveridge, aged 28, (Slough) Imprisoned for 17 years Andrew SMITH, aged 27, (Slough) Impprisoned for 11 years

4,260Drivers were breathalysed during December Failed the test (up 1% from 2012) 137 (64%) Were charged with offences 53 (25%) Were bailed pending further enquiries 23 (11%) Were released without further action Females arrested (down 31% from 2012) Males arrested (up 11% from 2012) Youngest person arrested was 17 Oldest person arrested was 82 December 2013 Christmas Drink and Drug Driving campaign

January 2014 Abandoned Stolen Vehicle Leaves Clues As a result of information from the community – Aldershot SNT located a stolen Land Rover in Aldershot multi storey car park. As a result of a forensic examination 2 suspects were identified from the Police fingerprint / DNA database. A male aged 24 from Surrey - charged Handling Stolen Goods A male aged 25 from Surrey - charged Handling Stolen Goods Awaiting trial at Winchester Crown Court

Anti Social Behaviour Orders Aldershot October 2013 A 49 year old Aldershot male has been issued with a 2 year ASBO As a result of drink related public order offences and an assault on a Community Support Officer He is prohibited from consuming or possessing open alcohol in Aldershot Town Centre February 2014 A 53 year old Aldershot male has been issued with a 2 year ASBO As a result of drink related public order offences and an assault He is prohibited from being drunk In any public place in the county of Hampshire

January - February 2014 Farnborough SNT target nuisance vehicles There have been numerous complaints at various locations around Farnborough of nuisance vehicles A coordinated response by Farnborough SNT has resulted in: 2 Drivers reported for Dangerous Driving 1 Driver reported for Driving Without Due Care 6 Drivers issued with Section 59 Police Reform Act warnings 1 Vehicle seized under Section 59 Police Reform Act 4 Vehicles seized under Section 165 Road Traffic Act 1 Driver issued Fixed Penalty Notice for illegal tyre 6 Warning letters due to Anti Social Driving

November March 2014 OPERATION OSPREY Conspiracy to Handle Stolen Goods across North Hampshire As a result of a major investigation between November 2013 & March Males aged between 17 and 44 Have been charged with Conspiracy to Handle Stolen Goods across North Hampshire The group of males come from various towns across Hampshire & London They are all due to appear at Winchester Crown Court March 2014

October 2013 Keith Lucas Road, Farnborough Quantity of Class B drugs Male aged 23 convicted 6 months conditional discharge October 2013 Cunnington Road, Farnborough Quantity of Class B drugs Female aged 42 & Male aged 28 Arrested – investigation ongoing Safer Neighbourhood Team Executed Drug Warrants - Farnborough November 2013 Lye Copse Avenue, Farnborough Quantity of Class B drugs Male aged 28 - Arrested No Further Action

January 2014 Lancer Court, Aldershot Quantity of Class A drugs Male aged 35 - Arrested Investigation ongoing February 2014 Frederick Street, Aldershot Quantity of Cannabis Plants Male aged 35 & Female aged 32 Arrested – Cautioned for cultivation of cannabis Safer Neighbourhood Team Executed Drug Warrants - Aldershot February 2014 Redan Gardens, Aldershot Quantity of Class A & B drugs Males aged 23 & 18 - Arrested Both due in Court March 2014

FARNBOROUGH SPEEDWATCH We now have 20 volunteers conducting regular Speedwatch Operations in Farnborough Join the team – become a Police Volunteer
