Procedures Before School all students will remain in the cafeteria or outside in the front of the school until 8:05. During which time, students will be allowed to go throughout the building until the ringing of the 8:17 bell signaling the time for students to move to class.

Hugh M. Cummings High School PROCEDURES Lunch: 1)In the cafeteria 2)Outside (front entrance) 3)No food or drink outside the cafeteria 4)No food comes back into the cafeteria (from seniors or others)

Hugh M. Cummings High School PROCEDURES Be at your designated pick up area by 3:30 to ensure you do not miss your transportation home. Please do not attempt to hang around in the building.

Electronic Device Policy Students will be allowed to use electronic devices during three times of the day: Before the start of school until 8:17 a.m. inside cafeteria/outside During their lunch period (inside the cafeteria and outside the front of the school) After school (unlimited, unrestricted usage ) ABSOLUTELY NO CELL PHONE USAGE DURING CLASS TIME OR CLASS CHANGES!!! IF YOUR PHONE IS USED DURING CLASS TIME, IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE CONFISCATED BY TEACHER/ ADMISTRATION AND TAKEN TO THE FRONT OFFICE FOR PARENT PICK-UP.

Attendance The ABSS High School Attendance Policy states that “Any student who misses more than ten (10) days in a semester (unexcused) shall not receive credit for the course unless it is recommended upon review by the Student Services Team (SST). Athletic Eligibility: 1)Must pass 3 out of 4 subjects the semester before the sport occurs 2)Must be in attendance at least 85% of the time (can not miss more than 13 days of school in a semester) 3)Must meet local promotion standards at the end of the year 4)2.0 Rule in effect Hugh M. Driver’s License – must pass 3 out of 4 courses the prior semester to retain a license - can lose your license if you drop out or have possession of an alcoholic beverage or an illegal controlled substance on school property Student Parking at CHS

What Not to Wear LADIES: SHOULDERS COVERED No halter tops No see through shirts No spaghetti strap shirts No mid drift tops (exposing the belly) No shirts showing too much cleavage No extremely short dresses, skirts or shorts (Finger tip test) No leggings/tights No jeans with holes exposing large amounts of thigh NO HEAD GEAR
