Do Now Turn in your research, please make sure your name is on it. Write your homework in your planner. One person from each pair needs to come and get your brainstorming ideas. The other person needs to grab all seven (7) Scholastic News Articles. Make sure you grab seven for you and seven for your partner.

Writing/MYP Today you are going to use your research to write an expository essay. Let’s quickly go over what an expository essay is suppose to look like. It has an introduction. It should have at least two body paragraphs. It should have a conclusion. When starting a new paragraph, you need to indent.

Prompt Using your research, not your partners, and your brainstorming, write about the following: Why did you choose your sources? How will these sources help you create your end product? Make sure you give at least two examples (one from each source). Make sure you cite your sources. EX: If the temperature of the atmosphere continues to rise, all of Earth’s climates could be affected (McGraw-Hill 65). McGraw-Hill is the publisher, there are several authors to the textbook. 65 is the page number.
