Mountain Park Christ Centered Fitness Fitness and Faith for all

WHY CHRIST CENTERED FITNESS ?

Christ centered fitness offers our students the opportunity to become healthy in mind, body, and spirit. We are free from the judgment, social/media pressures, and the negative stereotyping common in secular gyms. There is no pressure to perform, only acceptance, and a safe environment in which to explore our journey toward Jesus as the center of our wellness Mountain Park Christ Centered Fitness

Our program will offer our students: A deeper realization of God’s love for us and His desire for our well being Unconditional support as we work toward our goals Fellowship with others on our journey The opportunity to hear the Word applied in a new way Mountain Park Christ Centered Fitness

There are many obstacles to fitness in our lives today. Most people have encountered the cycle of gain, lose, and repeat Media is constantly suggesting that if we change our pant size, our number on the scale, some body feature, we will be happy and fulfilled. We seem eternally locked in a frantic race to change something before the clock runs out Why don’t we stop and change the place we put God in our lives ? With Him, everything is possible and falls into place The results with Him will amaze you ! Mountain Park Christ Centered Fitness

Background My name is Regina Rojewski and I am a member of Mountain Park Community Church. My journey to lasting fitness began 2 years ago with a prayer and culminated in my recent certification as a group fitness instructor. I received my training through Revelation Wellness, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the concept that we live well, love God, be healthy, and love others. RevWell instructors receive intensive training using the ACE group fitness instructors manual and the ACE essentials of exercise science (anatomy, applied kinesiology, exercise physiology, physiology of training, and nutrition). Instructors are vigorously grounded in the Word of God and trained to proclaim and direct our students toward Jesus as the center of their lives. I am CPR/AED certified, per ACE standards and I can teach a wide variety of types of classes from chair classes for the obese to high intensity interval and cardio circuit training for advanced students. I have a certain amount of equipment that I can use for this ministry. You don’t really need a lot of equipment, just creativity ! Demonstrating that transformational change is possible though Jesus is my life’s work. That I could accomplish this though a ministry would be a blessing and a way for me to give back all that God has given me. I hope you will consider helping me to help others in this way. Regina Rojewski
