CUT AND PASTE Learn how to cut and paste in a word document. By: Elizabeth Meringer

One of the easiest and most useful codes to use in any presentation are the copy, cut, and paste options. The first option to use is the cut, copy, and paste words located at the top left of this PowerPoint screen. Once you highlight your text, these words will appear as “functional.”.

MICROSOFT WORD In a Microsoft Word Document there are similar codes or actions to use. For instance, you would highlight the text in which you are copying, cutting, and pasting. You again can either go to the to the buttons that say cut, copy, and paste OR you can use the following codes on your keyboard: Ctrl+C= Copy Ctrl+x= cut Ctrl+v= paste

Try the following on your own: Copy and cut this text. Paste it into a Microsoft Word document. The dog ate a bone. I like to swim in the summer. The car is black.

YOU DID IT!
