Where did Augmented reality come from? Augmented reality came from a head mounted display system and got evolved later on. What is Augmented Reality? The process of superimposing digitally rendered images onto our real-world surroundings, giving a sense of an illusion or virtual reality. Recent developments have made this technology accessible using a smartphone.

Augmented Reality Apps The app called Aurasma is the world’s leading augmented reality platform. This app is available free at the app store for iPhone/iPads, Aurasma is also available for high powered android devices. Aurasma uses a image and pattern recognition to blend the real world with interactive contact such as videos and animation called “Auras”.
