PERSPECTIVE DRAWING

Step 1 Quarter the page as shown with light lines. Where the middle line touches the border mark two points - these are called.... RVP and LVP (Right and Left Vanishing Points).

Step 2 Mark out measurements 50mm down 75mm up from the centre. Add the verticals as light construction lines. There are only three types of lines to be made, vertical lines or lines to the right VP or left VP. Draw 2 vertical lines 35mm right 50mm left of centre.

Step 3 Darken in the lines as shown.

Step 4 Repeat previous steps to create another building Estimate the sizes.

Step 5 Darken in

Step 6 Add another building draw lightly to begin with

Step 7 Darken the lines

Step 8 add another

Step 9 and another remember to draw lightly to start

Step 10 darken in lines

Step 11 s hade the right hand side of the buildings as shown.

Step 12 Add some light lines as shown to suggest road and pavement. Add windows and doors to buildings.
