Beginning of the year writing Fall Is … In fall right before winter we gather all the leaves and burn them. Sometimes when Amaya comes over we have leaf fights we get leaves in our hair on our cloths and we use the leaf blower as a leaf canon. when fall comes around my mom makes soups and for thanksgiving we make apple,pumpkin,and even chocolate pies. what I like to do in fall is ride my bike up and down my road then make grilled cheese then try to keep the cats away from my food. They usually win. I also wear jackets every day. Finally my birth day is in fall

Look at me as a reader I not very good at sitting down and reading a book I get distracted really easily, so when it comes to reading unless it’s a really good book I will have trouble reading.

Look at me as a writer I have trouble thinking of what to write, so I sit there and think for a long time. When I have a good idea I will write and write. I feel like a better writer now than at the beginning of the year with know how to hook and how to writing in different genres.

Teacher’s read aloud On My Honor by Marion Dane Bauer I liked the book but I thought it was to short The tiger rising by Kate DiCamillo I did not like this book it really had no plot The Cay by Theodore Taylor this book was OK but it was boring Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell I loved this book it gives you good pictures in your mind and left me with a good feeling Lawn Boy by Gary Paulsen I liked this book even though it was a learning book Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt this is a very good book and gives you a new view of death

Band I play the baritone and saxophone in our school band I love playing them both. I am planning on switching to the concert tuba next year and not playing the sax.

Year in review This year has gone by quickly. I have learned many things from math to literacy and band to art. I have also learned things outside the classroom such as, how to play gorilla man gun and how to survive “The stage ”. I have enjoyed this year a lot looking forward to next year
