NEO-NAZISM GERMANY Nick Foland

NAZI HISTORY  As you know Nazis began their first movement in Germany with Hitler as their leader  After World War II all of the Nazi leaders were tried and convicted  The followers fled the country but still kept their beliefs

 There are 5,600 Neo-Nazis in Germany today  They have re-concentrated to eastern Germany  That is where most of the crimes are commited GERMANY’S NEO-NAZIS

TYPICAL NEO-NAZI  They are mostly all males  Are an extreme right-wing group  Still hate Jews, but also any foreigner or immigrant  In some cases will also beat up the homeless because they are considered “losers.”

REASONS FOR PROGRESS  The Eastern German areas’ disappointed expectations following the reunion of 1990  A massive influx of refugees, from the former communist states of Eastern Europe as well as from Africa and Asia.

CURRENT EVENT  A right wing extremist was arrested 11/29/2011  His name is Ralf Wohlleben and is 36 years old  Was arrested for supplying weapons to a small Neo-Nazi group  This small group was accused of a string of killings including a police woman
