The Driver CPC Brief over view of where we are now. 1.The first five year slot has now passed (10 th Sept) 2.Any C1 or above driver that has not completed the 35hrs of training should not be driving commercially. 3.If drivers have completed some courses? They will have the balance of five years to complete the course, before driving again. 4.A £50 fine against the driver for not carrying the card. 5.A £1000 fine for the driver and the operator if not trained.

The following was taken from the.GOV website, regarding Drivers CPC. Enforcing Driver CPC Driving without a DQC, or failing to produce it, carries a maximum fine of £1,000 for both the driver and the operator licence holder. These offences will be referred to the Traffic Commissioner who will then consider what action to take. This could include suspending the driver’s licence and/or the operator’s licence.
