Consumer issues (greet & martijn) Themes: valuation and involvement (stakeholder) Better understanding of demand/interests in relation to alternative management approaches (arranging local involvement) analyze the awareness, involvement, consumption and contribution of citizens regarding the landscape. Explore theories about distance and marketing Data analysis is based on a survey among citizens in and around three designated peri-urban areas in the Netherlands Results: Attention for local landscape arrangements increases the involvement of citizens. More attention for communication of the landscape and financing constructions is required from the perspective of the users, particularly for urban citizens outside the areas.
